The application provides an easy-to-use interface, where the user can choose between different clinic locations, the date and time and the Dentists. The Dentists available to schedule the appointment is displayed and the patient can view their profile and book the appointments. Once the appointment is booked, the support staff can communicate with the patients via the 2 way chat and confirm the exact appointment time.
The patient will get automated reminders - 1 day and 30 minutes before the appointment.
The patient can view the Dentist and Hygienist’s photos, credentials, descriptions, time of operation and also have the option to book from the profile itself. The patient can also check the reviews left by other patients in the app.
If there is a new patient who would like to schedule an appointment, then the patient can fill in the new patient questionnaire directly from the app.
For better screening of patients in the time of Covid-19, each patient will be asked to fill in the Covid-19 pre-screening questionnaire via the app. This helps to minimize interaction with the patient during their visit and also saves time for the clinic and the patient.
The patient can check in the app, letting the clinic know they are on their way or when they are outside the clinic waiting for their appointment.
AppforDentists allows patients to attend virtual appointments instead of clinic visits for minor issues. This feature makes it easy for patients to access dental care from their dentists and hygienists without having to worry about the risk of contracting the virus from contact with others. Such virtual appointments also allow you and your dental support staff to stay safe and provide the necessary services to your patients as and when needed. The option to make payments online makes it easier to provide such video appointments.
The patient can complete the payment after the appointment via the app itself. There are a number of other options included for payment apart from credit and debit cards such as Apple and Google pay.
The user can see the exact location of the clinic and also get directions to reach the clinic.
The app comes with an in-built messaging platform that allows patients to message the clinic if they have any doubts with regards to the facilities offered by the clinic or if they have any queries. One can also text the support staff to let them know if they are facing a dental emergency and would like to book an appointment at the earliest.
This section details the testimonials/reviews left by patients. The system sends the patients an email or text after each appointment, asking them to rate their experience with an option to share the same on top-tier review sites if the rating is 4 or above. The positive rating will also be posted in the app review page. If the rating is below 4, the same will be stored in the admin for further follow-up with the patient.
The app has a feature that allows patients to integrate their insurance coverage information within the app. This will help patients see the details of their insurance plans as well as add or remove any of the insurance plans currently available. This can be useful for booking appointments and letting insurance providers take care of the rest.
